Here’s a little exercise I like to do in the studio playing with design and layout – hope it’s useful!

I recycle old magazines that somehow find their way through my letterbox (even when I have’t subscribed). Some of the fashion ones have lovely cohesive tones already used which is helpful for monotone or specific colour exercises.

I usually use glue stick but had run out and couldn’t find any in the house or kids desks, so have used Liquatex Gloss Medium as a glue which is fine, but did make the paper bubble a bit. But not to worry, it’s just play and experimentation.

I enjoy using various mediums to explore and do creative exercises to keep things fresh.
